In a fashion typical to us people, I made a new friend today. It was a girl I’d known only as the granddaughter of my Nan’s new husband, but we never really spoke because I always thought she was much younger than me.
Then, tonight, she mentioned that she was the same age as me, and that she was just short. This baffled and amused me.
We spent literally hours talking, and we’re now awesome new friends.
The night before she goes to live in fucking Australia.
